Every engagement starts with what you already have, not with a reference architecture. Most of the value in cloud work comes from a small number of decisions made correctly and then automated, so they hold long after we leave.

Egress cost cut by fixing what was actually talking
Traffic analysis found workloads reaching AWS services through the NAT Gateway and a container restarting in a loop. Private service endpoints plus a stability fix removed the traffic rather than discounting it.
Container workloads right-sized against real utilization
Task definitions were sized from a launch-day guess. Utilization data over a full cycle produced new CPU and memory reservations, with autoscaling policies to absorb the peaks that remained.
Multi-environment infrastructure delivered as code
Development through production defined in Terraform with shared modules and a single promotion path, replacing environments that had drifted apart over years of console changes.
Secure single sign-on across enterprise applications
Identity federation and least-privilege role mapping replaced per-application accounts, giving one place to grant access and one place to revoke it.
Pipelines and observability for containerized applications
